Henry, Olive & Kate -Scientifically Proven Cuteness {OMSI, Portland, OR}

Once again, I had the privilege of meeting up with Henry and his twin sisters, Kate and Olive. I love capturing these beautiful siblings!

Our session took place inside the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, and it seemed to be a really perfect location for these kiddos. Big brother Henry was especially mesmerized by all the science. I came ready with tons of bribery candy, remembering that last time we shot, the children ran in three separate directions the entire session. What a difference six months makes! All three were incredibly cooperative and smiley. These are truly happy children, and I think their joy shines in these portraits.
Henry, Olive and Kate, I hope we can do it again! It is my great joy to photograph each of you!

Maddy & Gabby {Tanner Springs Park – Portland, OR}

I had the chance to meet up with my favorite little twin gals this past week, and it was so much fun to see how they’d grown, and at the same time, how much they’d stayed the same! Gabby was as easygoing and independent as last time, and Maddy also remained shy and skeptical of me. Both were beautiful as ever.
I think they really liked our choice of setting this time. Maddy was particularly taken with the rocks in the spring, and took to scooping up handfuls and organizing them into piles. Gabby just really liked the feel of the water on her feet!

Henry, Olive & Kate – Camas, WA

I have photographed many gorgeous families this year, and as you can see, Henry, Olive and Kate’s family is no exception. I met up with the siblings (and their grown-ups, Jen and Michael) at a beautiful park in Camas called Klickitat. The park is a place the family is very fond of, and I loved the idea of photographing them in a location of significance. Big brother Henry was adorably polite, referring to me as “Ms. Lady with the Camera”. So cute. He and his younger twin sisters were busy, happy and active, running in all directions, and I had a blast trying to keep up and capture them!

Price Family – Double life

You can imagine how excited I was to meet up with the Price family again; their adorable twin girls, Madison and Kennedy, really stole my heart during our last session. This time around, I had the opportunity to shoot in their home, which was both challenging (being that I’m an indoor lighting novice!) and great fun (this family is the definition of JOY!).

This was also my first venture into “lifestyle” photography, and I loved trying to capture the small details and interactions of this family’s life. I was pleased with the results!

Madison and Kennedy

I had such a blast with twins Madison and Kennedy this past week! It didn’t take long after introductions to figure out that these two are equally beautiful, but quite a bit different! Ms. Madison is a charming, precious little mama’s girl. Her sister Kennedy, well…lets just say she and I were fast friends! Precocious Kennedy warmed right up and often asked me to pick her up (lucky me!) and Madison hung with her mommy for the most part, which meant I was able to photograph their lovely mama, Sarah, quite a bit too.
I’ll be photographing these sweet girls a few times this year, and I’m so excited to capture how they grow and change. See you soon, Mady and Gabby!
